How to Request Deletion of Your Data

If you would like to request the deletion of any personal data that 7 Pockets Ltd holds, you can do so by contacting us using the details below.

Please include the following information in your request so we can locate and process it efficiently:

- Your full name

- Your company or organisation name (if applicable)

- The advertising account(s) or platform(s) your request relates to (e.g. Meta, Google Ads)

- A description of the data you would like deleted

Important: We Do Not Store Consumer Personal Data

7 Pockets Ltd does not store personal data of end consumers (such as email addresses, phone numbers, or customer databases) on its own systems. Where audience data is received from clients for advertising purposes, it is uploaded to the relevant advertising platform and immediately deleted from 7 Pockets systems. Personal data does not persist on our systems.

This means that if you are an end consumer of one of our clients' events or services, any personal data relating to you is most likely held by the advertising platforms (Meta, Google, etc.) or by the event organiser directly, not by 7 Pockets. We recommend contacting the relevant event organiser or advertising platform directly.

What Happens Next

1. Acknowledgement: We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days.

2. Verification: We may need to verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and authorised. This is to protect your data and prevent fraudulent requests.

3. Processing: We will complete the deletion within one month of receiving your request, in accordance with UK GDPR Article 17. If your request is complex or we receive a high volume of requests, we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will inform you within one month of receiving the request if this is the case (Article 12(3)).

4. Confirmation: Once deletion is complete, we will notify you by email confirming what data was deleted.

What Data We May Hold

Depending on how you have interacted with our services, we may hold the following types of data:

As a Data Controller (our own business relationships):

- Contact information: Your name, email address, phone number, and business details provided during our engagement

- Financial records: Invoices, payment records (retained for 6 years per HMRC requirements)

- Website data: Cookies and analytics data collected via the7pockets.com

As a Data Processor (on behalf of our clients):

- Advertising performance data: Campaign metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, spend, and ROAS (aggregated, non-personal)

- Campaign configuration data: Campaign names, targeting settings, budget information (non-personal)

- Audience data: NOT retained — uploaded to advertising platforms and immediately deleted

When We May Not Be Able to Delete Data

Under UK GDPR Article 17(3), we may not be able to comply with a deletion request where the data is required for:

- Compliance with a legal obligation (e.g. financial record-keeping requirements under the Companies Act 2006 or HMRC regulations)

- The establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims

- Archiving purposes in the public interest (not typically applicable to 7P)

Where we cannot comply with a deletion request in full, we will explain which data cannot be deleted and the specific legal basis for its retention.

Scope of Deletion

Please note:

- We can only delete data that we hold directly. Data held within your own advertising platform accounts (Meta, Google, etc.) is under your control and should be managed through those platforms directly.

- Where we act as a Data Processor on behalf of a client, deletion requests relating to that client's data will be forwarded to the client (as Data Controller) for their decision. We will assist the client in fulfilling the request.

- Deletion requests will also trigger removal of data held by any sub-processors acting on our behalf.
